Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit Herb & Hearth (https://herbandhearth.blog) and how it is used. We keep things simple and collect as little as possible.
Who we are
Herb & Hearth is a wellness and home cooking blog. You can reach us at herb.hearth@gmail.com.
Hosting by WordPress.com
This site is hosted on WordPress.com, which is run by Automattic Inc. When you visit, WordPress.com may automatically collect standard information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. This helps keep the site secure and lets us see basic, combined visitor statistics (for example, which posts are popular). WordPress.com also sets cookies to make the site work, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can read how Automattic handles data in its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Comments
If comments are turned on and you leave one, the name, email address, and website you enter, plus your comment, IP address, and browser details, are stored to help display your comment and fight spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. WordPress.com may check comments with an automated spam filter.
Amazon affiliate links and cookies
Herb & Hearth is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an Amazon link on this site, you leave Herb & Hearth and go to Amazon.com. Amazon may set cookies on your browser so it can tell that you came from this site and credit any qualifying purchase. We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or what you personally bought. Amazon’s use of your information is covered by the Amazon Privacy Notice, which you can find in the footer of Amazon.com.
Embedded content
Posts may include embedded content or share buttons, such as Pinterest pins or “Save” buttons. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other site directly, and that site may collect data or set cookies under its own privacy policy.

We do not have a newsletter or email list right now, and we don’t collect email addresses for marketing. If you email us directly, we use your message only to reply. If we add a newsletter in the future, we will update this policy first.
